It was our first visit to the Sheeps Head peninsular, we drove to the Lighthouse car park and did the Lighthouse Loop walk, which is short and well signed. The views are spectacular. We enjoyed it so much, we will visit again soon

Staying at start of Sheeps Head way near Bantry. Beautiful scenery on the drive out to Sheeps head lighthouse. Walk to lighthouse is downhill so may be challenging to some. Views are spectacular and worth walking to

Good headland with amazing views. You can do a short walk to the lighthouse and back in about an hour, not suitable for those with more limited mobility. Park at the café. There are other options for longer walks if the weather is fine.
