Best of fresh ingredients, worth visiting even if your not buying, just to get a bit of recipe inspiration. Coffee shops are fab and set right into the market environment. A takeaway O Flynns Sausage in a breadroll is a lunchtime treat.

Was killing some time between appointments.. sick of the same coffee shops. I decided to venture into the English Market. Whilst there the allure of a fresh cup of coffee got me.. so upstairs I wandered to be greeted by the pleasant staff. And beautiful smell of coffee and my eyes to a rainbow of colours ... had a coffee... More

A fantastic and amazing place to shop. The fish counter and their friendly banter, a friend of the Queen of England, have amazing displays. The various types of bread and other tasty goodies are all around and lookout for the butcher shop. I stopped at the sandwich bar opposite the fish stall and had a very filling snack.

Was able to cook but love to window shop. The abundance of food from all over the world is wonderful. We did check out the chocolates they were great. Also got my shirt sewn where I had torn it. A must see off in Cork

This is a very comprehensive market with great displays of most kinds of food. All the attendants we spoke to were pleasant & cheerful & very knowledgeable about their products. There are also a number of stalls offering cooked food & coffee. The fish & meat displays are as good as I've ever seen.
