We have an affiliation with the Presentation Order of Sisters, so we sought out this bridge. It's hard to find the plaque to Nano and it's not a grand bridge, but it does lead you on a journey to the Nano Nagle Centre where the...More

This is an average footbridge crossing the River Lee. You get a good view of St. Fin Barre's Cathedral up river. There is usually someone begging on the bridge no matter what time of day. Can be dangerous when bicycles are using it at high...More

Firstly, I'm a little alarmed at the negative reviews of this bridge. Perhaps there's a little jealousy involved. Name me a single bridge at that location that can compete. If you have an open mind and an eye for beauty, this is the bridge for...More

This bridge is across the river in town. Like most bridges are. There didn't appear to be anything special about it. I happened to be there anyway but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

I'm not sure if we're going to be including the wonderful traffic lights of the Grand Parade or the mysterious phone booth of the South Mall on TripAdvisor too, but this entry is not remotely relevant to tourists visiting Cork. Nano Nagle bridge is just...More

What a visitor attraction this is! Imagine it, a structure built to span the physical obstacle that is a river for the purpose of providing passage over said obstacle. It's perfect as a scenic shortcut from O'Sullivan's Quay to Grand Parade and even more so...More

I walked over this bridge yesterday. It takes about 15 seconds to cross, walking at a reasonable pace. It gets you nicely from Sullivan's Quay onto the Grand Parade, and that is about it. Watch out for beggars and homeless people who like to use...More
