Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It’s a decent enough climbing facility and the overall experience used to be friendly and fun for families. But staff members (some of them anyway) are now quite rude and full of attitude and their own self importance. Shame. It really spoils the experience.

AVOID!!!!! Had my daughters 7th birthday party here 2 weeks ago. Their were over 20 children and the staff were extremely rude were not a bit interested.. anytime we went up asking for extra cordial we were met with eye rolls and sighing.. also the same response when we asked for extra chips as they didn't bother to put on enough food. Was told an email was sent to me stating they don't provide cutlery or plates for the cake. Checked the email it doesn't say it only says it on their website. Had to wash the plates that were used for the pizza and chips ourselves for about 20 mins and use them again for the cake.

Was here today in the Little Rebels soft play section with my grandchildren.

Smashing facility! The kids absolutely loved it and it caters for all young children and toddlers too.

Staff are nice and you can have coffee and snacks while watching the little terrors tearing around the place.

Excellent play area and reasonably priced too!

Great fun and excellent facility. Being mindful of the current COVID restrictions - easy to book online or over phone, social distance and hygiene guidelines in place. Great staff, welcoming and helpful. Gianlucca was with us for the session - great instructor and made it a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Tried out a few different walls of differing difficulty. Will be back for sure.

I booked a bouldering induction yesterday for myself and my partner. I used to go before Covid, but that was over 2 years ago and I needed a refresher before attempting it again.
The staff were lovely and helpful, the inducting was comprehensive and informative. Rory took the time to go through safety measures while climbing and also climbing etiquette. There are sensible Covid precautions in place to protect climbers, which is reassuring.
Once we had finished the administration, we had a great hour climbing after that. There is a variety of routes from easy to challenging, and a traverse, which was great fun to try out.
We had an awesome time

Attended a party here today in the adjoined little rebels. A child slipped and hit head off end of slide leaving him with a very nasty gash that probably had to be either glued or stitched. Blood was pouring everywhere staff were asked for a first aid box by a man who's child was at party and he was told they didn't have one and was handed a towel. In my opinion for a centre for children there should be a first aid box at hand. Also yes it is up to parents to supervise their children but their should also be staff members walking around the play centre ensuring safety which you see at every other play centre. The main concern here tho would be the lack of a first aid box. So something to bear in mind for the centre.
I also unstacked chair in the party room and every single chair was dirty with food or chocolate obviously not cleaned after previous use. So I wiped each one down and also wiped them after the party today before restacking them.

Darragh was a brilliant, encouraging and fun instructor with my 6 year old niece and daughter. They were buzzing with confidence afterwards and eager for their next visit. Took 2 year old daughter to soft play area next door. Brilliant set up and a fantastic way to spend a rainy after school afternoon! I’ll consider becoming a member as the cost is high to book an instructor every time. Delighted to have something like this in Cork!

Very disappointed with this gym. Turned up for a short bouldering session after work while I was on a business trip and was told that you must do a 30 minute induction before you are able to climb. I have never experienced this at any climbing gym before and I feel this is unnecessary for experienced climbers to do before they train.

The up keep of the climbing frames is starting to fail. There is duct tape over part of the climbing cushions. There is dust all over the underneath of nets and on top of the big slide. The roller obstacle on the upper level is broken and very hard when you “roll” over it. The bathrooms hadn’t been checked/cleaned between play times. Overflowing bins, no toilet paper in some cubicles, no soap in the men’s toilets and fescues on the toilet in the ladies. Overall I wasn’t impressed with Little rebels and I won’t be spending my money there again.

We have been to the cork centre twice now and it is a great experience for adults and children. A great activity for rainy days. The staff are very helpful and friendly, special shout out to Sam. There are various levels of difficulty and you come away with a real sense of achievement and quite exhausted. Great fun
