Really nice drive around spike and the navy base. Would be great if the boats just went a little faster.

Wonderful experience. Beautiful sunny day. Felt very safe and good safety briefing. The only thing was it was hard to hear the guide when describing the surroundings when out on the water, maybe a microphone would help.

We did the self-drive on Sunday 27th Aug and I am being absolutely genuine when I say it was the most fun we've had with the kids all summer. Tadhg was our guide, and he was absolutely sound. You get a good bit of freedom, but the safety boat is always near by. Stunning views, and a ice tour of the area. Can't wait to come back (despite the kids now wanting a rib of their own).

Favourite part was getting soaked with the splash. It was a bit choppy but great fun and our driver intended us to get wet. The previous time we did it was very calm so we were all dry

I believe it’s €49 for an hour trip! They run Monday to Sunday. You would be better off calling them on 0860747926 to make a booking as they can book out. I would definitely recommend the tour!

I have a toddler , is there any place to park the buggy on the boat or seat to strap him in?

Sorry only came across your question today, yes you can leave the buggy in or by the booking hut, there are no straps on the boat but this is normal on all boats, he or she will be very safe on your lap or sitting beside you.
