In fair or even great weather it’s wonderful to walk around the lee fields. When it’s raining it easily is flooded and you might need wellis to go there though.

I was living close to this amazing place. Whenever I need a fresh air I was walking next to river. It is sad most of the people in Cork they don’t visit that often.

The Lee Fields has a walk along the banks of the river which runs the full length of the Carrigrohane road. It is a lovely scenic walk which is enjoyed all year round by Corkonians.

A stroll on the banks is what you do out the Lee fields. Take care as you walk as the water is high but take a break from the city and get some air.
