Everyone was raving about this place so decided to give it a go. Checked on the website and it gave the opening hours but when we arrived a large sign declared "Closed for the Season". Obviously it does not open in January but it would have been useful if the website made this clear after a long drive! Not impressed!

I've brought my kids here about 10 times now and unfortunately this was our last as the youngest will be too old next year (his words). We brought Granny with us too as it was her birthday the following week. We arrived late but they were kind enough to invite us to the next sitting even though its normally booking... More

Absolute waste of money. I am sitting here still in shock. Feel so ripped off...... Because WE WERE !!!!!!! It was extremely cold, especially the room the show was done in. Covered Irish history and a lot of politics in different sections. Was an eerie place to be but I loved the secret doors through the Irish political section which covered the IRA and the Toubles. The whole place was fascinating.

The Famine Village in Doage was well worth a visit. There was a very well informed guide to take everyone around & tell the stories down through the centuries, which made thwe visit all the more interesting.

Didn't really know what to expect but from the amazingly warm welcome from the girl in shop, to the tour by the best informed guide we have met we loved this place.
