Covered Irish history and a lot of politics in different sections. Was an eerie place to be but I loved the secret doors through the Irish political section which covered the IRA and the Toubles. The whole place was fascinating.

The Famine Village in Doage was well worth a visit. There was a very well informed guide to take everyone around & tell the stories down through the centuries, which made thwe visit all the more interesting.

Didn't really know what to expect but from the amazingly warm welcome from the girl in shop, to the tour by the best informed guide we have met we loved this place.

There is a sign saying 4 Km - however you need to make sure you take the correct turning, or it is further round the loop in the road. Suggest leaving plenty of time to hear what is said, and then to absorb it all. We found it fascinating and far more there than we expected. Not only about the... More

Previously the wake was in a small room and was much more realistic, this time it was in a cold shed, very disappointed that there was no tea available! Tea used to b included in the price with home baking! And... More

This is a small "village" that once was a private residence. Some much history here about life in the isolated northern region of Ireland through the occupation of the English up to the modern century. Care is taken to provide a full balance of the political and economic climate of the times to give balance to the story that has... More
