A truly amazing place, especially if your into traditional Irish music. Situated in the heart of picturesque Donegal, this establishment seems to attract locals and visitors in equal measure. It' s great place to experience traditional Irish music on a daily basis and indeed to experience true Irish hospitality at it's best. The visitor is made to feel instantly welcome.... More

A small gem in Donegal Town. Great atmosphere. Friendly locals. Our bartender Jamie was so sweet even though he was soooo busy with his customers. The local band was really good. The place was rocking. A must visit while in Donegal

We missed Donegal on our previous visit to Ireland and now it has become our favourite Irish town! It's pretty small area was lovely to walk around with the river close by, the Old Castle majestic, the people, as we found all over Ireland charming, friendly and welcoming, great food and fantastic music!

I chose a night where they essentially had a Ceili. Various locals of different vocations, coming together to passionately "jam" some traditional irish music. An utter delight. Drink prices are quite reasonable, service was very good, and even as a solo traveler, I was made to feel welcome and included. A great find in this lovely town
