Be sure to line up early if you want a good seat! It was a nice day and we barely managed to snag seats atop the waterbus. For good photos, definitely grab a seat up top. There were wonderful photo opportunities and the tour was nice. It was so neat to see the seals! We made our way downstairs on... More

This is an interesting trip and a good way to chill out while hearing more about the area from the local tour guide. This was quite a short tour around 90 minutes during which our guide told us some of the history associated with the area. The guide sung a few songs on the way back which was very pleasant.... Fantastic boat trip which was enjoyed by everyone. The entertainment which comprised with jokes and a sing along went down very well with all on board. A few people got up to dance and had great fun. We were able to purchase a hot drink and take in the beautiful scenery. The waters were so calm, but unfortunately we did... More

Wonderful cruise out into the bay, learning about the history of the area in detail, whilst also viewing seals. Lovely modern vessel with knowledgable and friendly crew - couldn't recommend it more highly.

Truth be told as compared to water tours in other cities there is not much to be seen going out from or returning to Donegal. However it is a pleasant way to spend 90 min or so and Gerry's narration (on the way out mainly stage comedian with good timeless jokes or on the way back leading old Irish or... More

We weren't sure this trip would be taking place as the weather wasn't very nice. However some German tourists were in town and booked on the trip. Despite the weather we did manage to see some seals and quite a few herons as well. The management had provided the Germans with their own printed information while the commentary was provided... Took the tour on the Waterbus with a small group of Americans tourist two weeks ago. We all enjoyed our tour around Donegal Bay. The bar staff were very friendly and especially Jackie who has a great smile and has a great personality. Gerry Meehan gave a great commentary going out and loads of information about the history of Donegal... More
