Took a while to find it, not very well sign posted but a lovely peaceful piece of Dublin, nice walk, superb views, nature meets industry set amongst the docks. Great views of Dublin from all angles. A hidden gem .

We were on our way to Poolbeg Lighthouse biking towards Shelley Banks carpark when we caught sight of the Great South Wall, or the South Bull Wall as it is also called. There aren’t too many tourists down here. That spot is well off the...More

It's only a short ride by bike from the heart of the city - but it's a different world and a different take on Dublin and it's surroundings. There is a car park if your driving at the entrance to the pier. From the northside...More

Requires a car, or dedication to get from city centre. Nice walk out to lighthouse. many people walking their dogs. good timing means you see the ferries from wales come in also.

If you have an hour and its a sunny day why not take a walk down to the South Wall Lighthouse and catch the fresh breeze or watch a ferry or cargo ship come into Dublin Port. You can start the walk in Sandymount/Irishtown park...More
