Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were able to snag a spot at the bar and had a very authentic experience listening to the bartenders talk and pour whiskeys. Both bartenders made their Irish Coffee slightly different so obviously we had to try both versions :) It was fascinating to watch, quite the process! This is honestly the BEST Irish coffee I have ever had, so delicious! The place itself is quite small but that's part of the charm. It's cozy and quaint, with fun memorabilia, whiskeys, and cigars on display. You can escape the busy Temple Bar here! We didn't feel rushed, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend :)

We ducked in here for a place to rest our feet for a minute and found a real grown up whiskey bar. The bartender looked about 10 years old, but he knew his stuff. They have a great selection of whiskeys, including Japanese, at just about every price point. If you are whiskey curious, this is a great place to try a few before purchasing a bottle, which you can do here as well.

We first visited the store for a tasting a year ago and stopped by again on Saturday for another go. Happy to say it is still excellent - welcoming, knowledgeable staff, fantastic range to taste and a fun experience. It is a very small space, accomodating 5 people at the bar and probably about the same divided between two barrels-as-tables. We each got a separated flight for tasting so all in all we tasted 8 whiskeys. The staff were very helpful guding us through the process. We learned a lot, and walked out with two rare bottles we loved!

Lots of different kind of whiskeys, a little bit expensive though. Taste Redbreast and Yellow Spot. Highly recommended.

Spectacular selection of whiskeys, but seemed rather overpriced. We had some fun conversations with the bartenders and other customers.

This place is small and crowded but it was less chaotic than a lot of the other places in the Temple Bar area so we settled in for a wiskey tasting. The server gave us a lot of info about Irish whiskey. The other customers who were seated with us were from Denmark & Japan, so the conversation was interesting. A few days later we popped in for an Irish Coffee which was the best I've ever had!

I really enjoyed the store. I took the tour first and then stopped here. There is a wide range of products that I purchased as souvenirs. My friends loved them! I would definitely recommend it.

This is a gorgeous wee spot and it's all whiskey! A little haven on a street filled with rambunctious mania. We just caught a show in the Abbey, the wife and I, and we needed a dram to savour whilst we discussed the evening's previous theatrical flop. Two wonderful bar keeps (Jim and Gabe) recommended two delicious whiskies for us to drink. We picked their brains and there wasn't a question they couldn't answer when it came to whiskey.
We had a lovely time, and we left having learned a lot.
Thank you Jim and Gabe

Stumbled upon this place by chance whilst visiting Dublin back in April and went in to try one of the tasting offers. Fabulous place and, although small, packed to the rafters with a huge range of whiskey to suit every pocket. We enjoyed the experience so much we just had to find it out again when we we returned to Dublin for another visit last week. Again, we tried one of the range of whiskey tasting offers and followed that with several tots of various whiskeys recommended by the very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly bar steward. Absolutely love this place and will undoubtedly pay a visit next, and indeed every time I visit the fair city!

Went to this store on the advice of a tour guide and couldn't have been happier! Specifically Kaitlin, Rhianna, and Ray who ever incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. As my friend and I aren't whiskey concierges, they gave us some great choices and a great time. 11/10 recommend.
