Ireland's National Concert Hall is regarded by performing artists as one of the finest concert halls in Europe. At the heart of Dublin's city centre it boasts a thrilling programme of the world's greatest performers and Ireland's finest musicians. With weekly performances by our resident orchestra, the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestras as well as a range of performances and activities covering classical, opera, traditional, jazz, musicals, popular music and education and community outreach, The National Concert Hall is a thriving venue catering for all musical tastes, ranging from the New York Philharmonic to the Chieftains, Cecilia Bartoli to Joan Baez, Lang Lang to Jools Holland and Yo-Yo Ma to Peking Opera, and many more. Our vision for The National Concert Hall is that of a world-leading auditorium and centre of excellence for the performing arts in Ireland. The Hall, on Earlsfort Terrace, is a building worth experiencing on its own merits alone, to say nothing of the exciting performances within it.

This is a lovely small concert hall with great acoustics but a few design flaws. The stage is higher than the audience so you are always looking up (unless in the limited balcony seating). There is no middle gangway so if you are seated in the center you will have to say a lot of "excuse me please" as you... More

My family and I decided to visit the beautiful NCH over the Christmas Holidays and opted to see Bugsy Malone. We paid 29 euro per ticket (we are a family of five so basically 150 euro) for what looked like great balcony seats (online) but when we got there we were straining our necks and having to watch our young... Went to hear the Kings College Choir Christmas Concert. Heard them last year at Albert Hall in London and they are fabulous. This concert was inspiring and we enjoyed it immensely. The seats were a bit hard but well worth it. Loved it.

We attended the New Year's Day concert by the National Symphony Orchestra in the National concert Hall on 01/01/2017. We booked a meal for 5 PM prior to the show at 6:30 PM. While the quantity of food provided was not huge it was extremely tasty and of a high standard. We really enjoyed our meal and then entered the... More

First time here this year but the venue is a pleasure to visit, as always. Musical hits were promised and delivered by the excellent orchestra and the outstanding Mr.Karimloo who I have never heard before, a marvelous performer. Complimentary prosecco during the interval, countdown for the new year and a version of Bring him home to rival Colm Wilkinson, a... More

The National Concert Hall Dublin offers a great opportunity for enjoy music and opera in Dublin. The hall has a more intimate feel than some of the larger concert halls but booking in advance is recommended for a good seat.

Took three children to this last Saturday and it really was amazing. Very festive and enjoyable. Simon Delaney did a fantastic job with the narration and well the orchestra were just phenomenal. My only complaint (which in some way may be a compliment) was that it was too short and ended rather abruptly. I was definitely ready for some more.

My girlfriend and I popped into this restaurant three weeks ago and were blown away by the high service, culinary standard and value for money. Naturally we revisited again early Dec and again found the service outstanding, food excellent and inexpensive. This restaurant provides it all and knows how to combine healthy eating with culinary delight. Do check it out.

I'm in my sixties and only now took the opportunity to visit the National Concert Hall in Dublin. I'm regretting not having gone sooner as the atmosphere and surroundings are second to none. We sat in the stalls with an excellent view of the stage, artist and orchestra. For that I don't think theirs any seat with a bad location.... More

My husband and I attended a concert in the NCH and had a meal in the Terrace Restaurant beforehand. We had a fantastic, top quality, delicious meal. The staff were friendly and efficient. It made for a really enjoyable night out and we will definitely be back. Many thanks.
