A history and humor-filled tour through Dublin, courtesy of local tour guide Carl. Leading the group from City Hall to Temple Bar (the area, not the bar) to where U2 played in their early days to Trinity College and the Molly Malone statue, Carl gave as thorough a history of Dublin (and Ireland) as one could in such a short... I always start a new city with a walking tour to learn the area and the history. We did not really like this tour. We hardly left the area where we started and the guide spent a good bit of time talking about himself. More walking, more info about the current history and people would have been more interesting.

We took the walking tour on Sunday in Dublin with Cathal (cj), very funny and informative. We've done tours in most European cities and he was the best guide we've had.. great craic all round!

A potted history of Dublin on a short (distance) walking tour over 3 hours. Use it as a starting point for what to visit and spend more time at on your Dublin visit. Eoin our very knowledgeable local guide full of anecdotes and craic made the time fly by.

We have just had a great tour of Dublin with a very knowledgable guide called Carl. It's a lot of craic! The tour is at a nice pace taking in some of the sights of the south side of the city. The guide recommend places to visit. We learnt a lot about the history of Dublin in an informal style... More

I was blown away by the quality of the walking tour. The tour is free but tips are welcomed. Our guide took us all over the city. In addition to the fascinating history, he also told us great stories and recommendations for bars, other tourist attractions etc. A must do in Dublin.

We had already taken the Edinburgh tour in spanish with Maria Serrano, and was great. So in Dublín we wanted to try the english tour, and what a great choice. Ciaran was awesome, he had great stories and truly the best way to know the city was with an irishman telling us local tales of the city. Really loved his... More

Sandeman's tours are a must for every new European city that I visit, and this was no exception. Our tour guide CJ (or Cathal if I remember right) warmed up the dark cloudy morning with his energy and took us through some of the most popular places around the Dublin Castle, Grafton Street and Trinity College areas. His tips on... More
