    10/I0 for learning / fun & cocktails
Booked last minute as something to do on bank holiday Sunday, our tour guide was Mark who made the whole experience! He was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience a joy with his humour. Done 8/9 distillery tours and I would rate this in the top 2. Value for money being a key factor, as you receive three tasters and two cocktails. We also had a great tour group that day which can also help things but I think Marks personality made this happen

    Style and substance !
As the famous line says, " this ain't my first time at the rodeo" I've been on at least 10 distillery tours, they have ranged from interesting to comical. Roe & Co is the absolute winner by a country mile. Luke gave us an entertaining tour which explained why we don't know the name, the history of the family, the brand its journey and he really personalised the product for me. There was enough detail about the process but without getting too detailed and again Luke was able to explain what makes this whisky individual. The cocktail making session is what's makes this tour so stand out from all the others. Not just a cocktail but an education and a revelation. We ended our tour in the bar sampling new cocktails based on what we had learnt. Be warned, this ended up a little heavy on the wallet but well worth it . From the building itself to the design of the interior features, this place has considered every aspect of its presentation. This includes a lovely gift shop which was reasonably priced and well presented. The whole team from the lovely gentleman on the gate, to Briannon in the shop, Shane in the bar and of Luke ( also the lovely Irish polish lady sorry I think I was on my third cocktail by then) Do not miss this opportunity

    Highlight of Ireland visit
We did the cocktail experience and it was sooo much fun. They talked to you through the cocktails, let you pick your favourite flavour and then you got a free drink at the end (which was soo yum - from a non whiskey drinker). I highly recommend this experience, it was a highlight of our Ireland visit.

    Brilliant
My niece booked as something different to do, well that it was. It was fun and highly recommended. Fun to do as start of a work nite out if just with a friend or friends for fun. Luke was very knowledgeable and obviously loved what he does.

    Whiskey tasting with a difference
An excellent insight into the distillery process and the history of Roe & Co. The guide Sebastian was very knowledgeable and the tour was quite interactive. The staff at Roe & Co were friendly and helpful. A great afternoon.

    Loved it!
We did this tasting experience as an add on from the Guinness Storehouse, and I'm am so glad we did! This was my favorite tasting experience in Ireland. Not only did we learn about whiskey and taste it, but it included a cocktail making experience. That was my absolute favorite part. In addition the whiskey tasting and cocktail making, you also enjoy a complimentary cocktail they provide. Such a good experience, and highly recommend.

Don’t think you need to love whiskey to love this tour! Just do it!
Absolutely a tour not to be missed! Even if you’re not a whiskey fan! This tour was fun, interactive and delicious! We had Luc as our guide, he was warm, kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, funny and ask that’s great in a good host! The history was just enough without becoming long winded the views inside and outside were fascinating. The making of cocktails was fun and I still want to buy some foamie as well as all the mixers we tried! Would love the recipes!! Don’t miss this one!

    Amazing experience!
We absolutely enjoyed the tasting tour. Our guide, Jake, was very entertaining, funny and passionate. Also the whisky was so good! We would recommend this tour to people who already know something about whisky and people who want to learn more.

We took the tour on 27-Sep-2024 at 330 pm with JAKE as our tour guide through the ROE distillery after completion of a self guided guinness tour. The ROE tour with Jake was an amaziing experience including a theatrical presentation of the history of ROE, guided whiskey tasting, creation of a custom whiskey blend and custom cocktail. My husband and I have been on several tours in Ireland and Louisville-very highly recommend the experience under the tutelage of Jake.

I decided to visit the Roe and Co distillery as I had some time to kill in Dublin and I have been a fan of Roe and Co whisky since I started drinking it a few years ago. The tour was excellent. Our tour guide Wayne was brilliant. He was so knowledge, funny and clearly had a passion for whisky. I did the bending experience and I would highly recommend this to any fan of Irish whisky.

While in Dublin, we went on several distillery tours. All were quite different in style, but the Roe tour was definitely the most fun. My husband and I took the Flavours Experience. Tour-takers go into the "lab" and actually work on making their own, individualized cocktails guided by whether their preference is for sweet, sour, etc. The participation aspect of the Roe tour was really a highlight. (Perhaps made more lively by including a group of women in Dublin for a concert later that evening.) Afterwards, your ticket entitled you to another drink - this time professionally made. Our guide, Shane, the bartenders and everyone at the front desk was very relaxed and friendly - this was not the case at other distilleries or breweries. The Roe staff also gave us a few tips for dining in the area and further around Dublin. Highly recommended!

Excellent experience. This distilling group is bringing both knowledge, art and flair to the demonstration and history of Irish Whiskey. As someone who was in the liquor business - I had some knowledge of whiskey production, but felt like an amateur in the midst of our guide whose knowledge was both vast and wide. For those who are new and experienced in drinking whiskey - great tour with a great product.

Did the tour on Father's Day. Sean was a super host, very knowledgeable and personable. He was able to bring the group together, so much so that by the end of the tour a group of strangers were now friends. His knowledge of the history of the distillery was second to none. The cocktail making session is not to be missed and is great fun. I would highly recommend the tour to any visitors to Dublin.

This is a great tour. The distillery is still new and quite small, but you get a nice tour of the facilities and an explanation of the history. It’s owned by Guinness but still has a small starter kind of feel, at least for now. The highlight of the tour is after learning about the distillation process you get to do a whiskey tasting and make your own cocktail. It’s fun and educational. Finally, you get a second cocktail in the on-site bar. Our guide Killian was excellent. Skip the Guinness “tour” which isn’t really a tour but more of a marketing ploy to get you to buy Guinness merchandise, and do this instead. It was fun and the whiskey is decent. Also, even though this appears to be the only place in Dublin that sells sunglasses (because let’s say you accidentally dropped them on the floor at the airport and they broke), they are much too expensive, which is really the only negative thing about this experience.

The tour we took was the blending tour. Our guide through the experience was Sean and he was absolutely fantastic. His presentation was not the memorized script that so many guides unconsciously zip through. It was well paced and he ensured our questions were answered. We took tours of almost every distillery in Dublin, but this hands on experience was without a doubt the best. The staff we met was young, energetic and proud to be part of this organization.

We were lucky to have the first tour of the day on a Sunday, so that meant we were the only people in Julia's tour group, so we had her undivided attention for 45 minutes. The mixing experience sets this tour apart from the Teeling tour we did the day before. Julia made us feel like craft cocktail bartenders during the mixing experience! She made me realize that I actually enjoy whiskey when mixed properly! The branding of Roe & Co and the design of the distillery, bar and gift shop are A-1. We liked it so much we'll likely pop into the Power House bar again for drinks.

Highly recommend, and ask for Julia!

Just had to say had a wonderful visit here. My daughter and I walked in off the street and luckily managed to get the last 2 places on the tour that was starting in 5 minutes. Bev (not going to try & spell your name properly) was the perfect guide. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly. I learned so many things about Roe & Co, it’s history and manufacturing that I took great delight in reeling off to my husband when we got home that he wished he’d been with us. There was a well explained tasting session, a fantastic cocktail mixing class and it all ended with a drink in the bar. So much thought and detail had been put into the building ( even the toilets) the tour and the shop. It was very very impressive. My only disappointment being that as we had only traveled with hand luggage we couldn’t buy much from the shop and there were lots of things I’d have loved to have bought. I was hoping to get the glassware and apron online but they aren’t available which is such a shame because they would make excellent presents. Hope you can get an online shop running very soon.

Hi, Thanks a million for the feedback! Very happy to hear you and your daughter had the opportunity of doing the tour with us and had an amazing time. We are extremely proud of our staff, and delighted you had such a positive experience with Bev. We will definitely pass your feedback onto her, she will be thrilled.
