Popped in for drinks, very busy and most of the tables taken, but found some stools. All the staff very friendly and they serve a good coffee & baileys :)

Going to watch a live music set on the Saturday night of our weekend was definitely a good decision - it was absolutely packed and the drinks were pricey but the atmosphere was fantastic, the music eclectic and the performers talented (and amusing). Just avoid wearing layers - we got quite warm!

We went into Temple Bar simply for the name due to it being the most popular bar in Dublin. It was a good atmosphere and the music was great, but queues were ridiculous and drinks were overpriced. I would go again as I did enjoy it but if you are on a budget it may not be for you.

I enjoyed walking through this area, but it was very small. I was disappointed by how little there was to see. The bars/restaurants are great, but not much else to do here

If you're coming to Ireland for a good time and you like to have a party, Temple Bar is the centre of the action. With a number of pubs and bars situated in a small area, there is always a guarantee of getting a good pint. Sometimes the bars can get a little crowded but that just adds to the... More

I had the opportunity to spend part of a Friday night at the Temple Bar with a few hundred of my 'closest friends'. There was great live music, which is what we were after. The crowd was loud and we had a good time. Not for people who like their own space and plan to carry on a conversation for... More

The most touristic area of Dublin, with lots of pubs and restaurants and also the Irish Rock Museum.

This area is famous for its Irish pubs featuring live music and plenty of people around. However, it is considered quite touristy and most locals wouldn't really come here. It is still however well worth a visit.

We visited the temple bar pub one evening as we were staying in an apartment in temple bar. The pub and the whole of temple bar had a good vibe, loved the people, the music and the atmosphere. Was quite pricey but was a good experience.
