Very expensive for food and drink. It is mainly catering for tourists. Good to see, but there is better places to go for a night out. There was a lot stag do's when we were there so we didn't hang around to late.

This is a busy tourist area full of places to eat and drink. Do wander around. There are plenty of pubs with local music and atmosphere. Read reviews for the ones that suit your tastes and style.

We sat and listened to Irish music, had lunch and drinks. Quaint, although expensive. We got there at 11am so had a great table. The place filled up pretty fast once the live music started. We visited on a Thursday.

We were well fed and the drinks were wonderful. It was very crowded, but the staff seemed to deal with not well.

Great for partying - I can see why there were so many hen and stag dos! Lots of great music and beer. Wine options expensive and poor!

We ended up eating lunch and dinner in Temple Bar....the area is quintessential Dublin. The streets were bustling, the pubs packed and I left the area with two full shopping bags. When you crossed over the Liffey on the Ha’Penney Bridge and walked down the...More

Worth a visit. Keep in mind that while it may seem busy during the day the crowds multiple at night! Lots of energy and fun taking place every where you look. I agree with many of the other reviews, prices are inflated to take advantage...More

When I was there a couple brought two young kids in (around 6 years old) and they could have a soft drink. It was about 4pm and there didn't appear to be an issue. I think you probably wouldn't want to take them into a bar... More
