Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing place. Very knowledgable staff and an excellent selection of Irish music, trad and otherwise. Truly the center of my musical universe.

Stopping into this store was one of the highlights of my trip to Ireland. For anyone who listened to and fondly remembers the Thistle & Shamrock program on NPR hosted by Fiona Ritchie, this is an absolute must-do. Staff was very friendly and enormously helpful in finding the rare CDs I was seeking.

We stopped in to this store because it was recommended in Rick Steves travel book for Ireland. We are glad we dd! Both staff members were amazing! They gave great music and travel recommendations, and they were fun to talk to. We have a restaurant on the list to try out now in Portrush! Highly recommend!

If you want to browse through traditional music and have a lively chat with the staff about arcane stuff, while you´re at it, this is an excellent place. Location could not be more convenient, just around the corner from Temple Bar. The music collection is not overwhelming but the selection is interesting with loads of surprises. You are likely to leave with music you had never heard about before, expanding your horizons.

This is so convenient - right across from Trinity College and my hotel (the Westin) - good knowledge. They preview the CDs and the woman behind the counter was very helpful and patient in playing CDs for me in advance of purchase.

If you like the music -- or you're curious about the music, or you want to know where to find a good session at a local pub -- be sure to visit Claddagh Records. The staff are great, and full of recommendations. Just be careful not to walk out with more music than you can technically afford!
