It's been a long time since I've been out to Clontarf. I used to know the area quite well and in my motorbiking days parking was never a problem. Yesterday three of us Cathies headed out by car to St Anne's Park for the Wuthering...More

The annual rose garden festival takes place July 22/23. Stalls selling a great range of artisan goods. Many garden centres and specialist plant growers there for the weekend. A great family day out

One of the best parks in Dublin for dogs. The forest and river really do make a great play area for the furry mutts. Nice little restaurant too for coffee and cake, if a little pricey but all in all, well worth the visit

Huge park, lot's of green and very colorful when the flowers bloom, especially Rose's avenue. There are some play fields, RC car's (and other) track, dog's park, plenty of spaces to run, lay down, have a picnic, etc... Every Saturday, there's a nice market there.

Its at the Red Stables, the entrance is on Mount Prospect Avenue. It's called Olive's and does great food and coffee.
