A variety of shops, but not much of anything reallu. Was hopeful of more alternative shops, the ones they had were a little bare. Nice to nosey round though

After reading a few reviews from Tripadvisor on how cool and quirky this Street Arcade was, I was a bit disappointed once I was there. My boyfriend and I were there on a weekend afternoon in the summer time (peak tourist season!) but many stalls were closed or were being renovated, perhaps? The stalls that were there seemed to sell... More

I had walked past Nutty Delights in the George’s Street arcade but thankfully a voice in my head told me to double back to try a sample. The lady attending the stall, Wish (that’s her name), has a full selection of samples to try out and is very friendly and helpful. I ended up with a bag of smoked almonds... More

We find Dublin a very walkable city, especially when the chrissie fever hits, there is such a buzz in the air, with hordes of people shopping, this is one of our go to places, as it is a little different to the norm, it is nice just to cruise around the shops under cover, definetly a place to keep in... As I was walking around the city looking for the Dublin castle, I got sidetracked into this street. Some stores caught my eye including eateries. Suddenly, I felt hungry. I ate and then walked around this street. There are some shops worth walking into but nothing special to lure me to stay longer.

While wandering Dublin, we ran into the George's Street Arcade. It was a quirky collection of stores that was worth taking the time to browse.

We enjoyed strolling through George's Street Arcade and checking out all the goods for sale. My wife picked up a very nice piece of Irish-made silver jewelry. Also, the sausage rolls at Lolly and Cook's were fantastic, very hearty.

Architecture is worth the visit itself. Nice shopping for those odd little items you need to place about your house to remind you of the uniqueness of travel. Not the greatest selection but lots of great stuff. Definitely worth a stop.

It is a free place just to spend one hour of your extra time. It is open late only on Thursdays. You can buy some local stuff for souvenirs.

I do love to wander through the arcade. Especially at Christmas when it's all dressed up. The architecture is fantastic. The shops are a mixed bag with good bad and indifferent among them, but there is a little something for everybody here, and a few places to eat and get a coffee too. Well worth the trip for any tourists... More
