Dublinia is one of Dublin’s top visitor attractions with three exciting exhibitions all located at the historic crossroads of Dublin. There are three exciting exhibitions; Viking Dublin and Medieval Dublin recreate the city through life size reconstructions, including a Viking house and a medieval fair while Death and Disease are also investigated. Finally unearth the city’s past at the new interactive History Hunters exhibition, visit an excavation site, and see medieval bugs under the microscope in the Lab. See Dublin from a new perspective and come away knowing more about its citizens throughout the ages!

This museum provides more background history of Ireland. If you want to learn about the black plague, health issues, and vikings then this is the place you want to be. They offer learning experiences, games, and souvenirs you can take home with you. Even the tower provides an excellence view of Dublin Centre.

Thoroughly enjoyable stroll through Dublin during the Viking and Medieval eras. Self guided and plenty of interactive exhibits - costumes, crafting etc. Staff very knowledgeable and approachable, especially Ian who seemed to have an almost infinite recall and managed the constant interjections from my autistic son admirably! Entry fee was reasonable, €25 for a family ticket I think. Recommended for... More

In a number of well constructed tableaus, you can follow the early history of Dublin. However, it should be said, that if you are a person with reasonable historical learning yourself, there is nothing new. Also the coffe room is terrible. It is al ost shocking, to walk trough a medieval passageway, in to a room with ceiling beams and... More

Getting dress as a viking or writting your name are some of the things you can do in this interestign place. Of course you also have a lot of information about the Dublin "founders" and Dublin ancient history.

it was very interactive and I think kids would probably enjoy it. For 2 adults though it was a decent overview of Dublin from the Vikings through Medieval Dublin...it did give us a few chuckles though and was worth the price of admission

I went here as a child, and could just come all the time. So much history and learning and it's great for children as well as adults. Adore Dublinia and would recommend it to everyone and anyone!

There is so much to see in Dublinia, and they seem to have the balance between things to see and read and things to do for children just right. It is well worth walking up to the top of the tower at the end for the views.
