The book of Kells is in remarkable state of preservation and well worth seeing together along with the other ancient manuscripts and books.

Selected parts of The Book of Kells itself are in a glass display case and are certainly interesting to see. But leading to that are many rooms giving the historical background of the Book and of its times, and that context is important to know....More

This is a don't miss. The artist and historical value of the Book of Kells can't be matched. Take time to sit in the Long Hall and appreciate the beauty of the shelves filled with ancient tomes.

The artifacts on exhibit were simply awe inspiring and a quick look around the campus was nice. We didnt end up spending a lot of time here but it was definitely worth checking out.

Know what to expect before you go. The manuscripts themselves only have two pages open for viewing in dimly lit glass cases. It is more about being able to say you saw them. We thought the audio tour was worth purchasing to help understand all...More

The trinity college presentation of the Book of Kells was impressive. The pages were enlarged to explain details and show the fine workmanship of the monks. The library itself is a wonder. A must go see

Is there a coat room where I could leave my bags? I'm taking the tour and then have to head straight to the airport for a 2pm flight. I'm trying to figure out the best option for my bags. Thank you!

I do not remember seeing a cloak room, or lockers anywhere. They also don't have any space to put it somewhere behind the counter. Best to go luggage free.
