A must see!

The Book of Kells is an amazing view back in time. This exhibition really shows how valuable the priests and monks of old kept language alive.

I am a history buff and my wife is a librarian, So I don't know if there'd be a better place for us to visit. The Book of Kells display was very well done. They don't allow pictures so that was a bit disappointing. The rich history of the Book and the painstaking methods they used to make it were... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the staff were very helpful. The Long Room was an incredible feat of engineering. Catering in the student cafe was basic but good value.

Like something out of Harry Potter, the Old Library with its manuscripts is worth the time....the Book of Kells tour is laid out in a bit of a confusing manner and the actual book itself is in quite a small area but was interesting

This exhibition was very interesting, and it deserves a good amount of time to read everything and really understand the story behind the book of Kells. But the cherry on top of the cake is the library, because it's one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. It reminds me of the library in the movie Beauty and the Beast.... More

The book of Kels tour was good, but the old library is the highlight of the visit in Trinity College. It is amazing to watch the original ancient books on the shelfs, and the decoration of the library is very unique.

On a glorious bright October day, I went to the museum. There was huge queue of visitors, moving at snail pace. I enjoyed the campus and crowd around me, as I was not keen to spend inside and waiting in the queue.

Personally I love history and old books, so this was always going to be a winner from me, but even those in my group who weren't as keen enjoyed the experience and we all agreed it was worth the time and money. The book of Kell's is a beautiful artefact, and the Library is probably one of the most amazing... More

We were lucky the day we went; nary a soul. We had time to read the history and explanation of the books. When you see the actual Book of Kells, you want to linger, it is so beautiful and you want to capture the details. You exit to the Long Room, the Library that is out of another time. It... More

There's a lot surrounding the Book of Kells, and the well-thought-out exhibit is more than happy to tell you about the history, the art work, and the meaning of it all. It's all very well done before you actually get to see the Book of Kells, which was a bit underwhelming to a tourist with no real connection to it.... More
