It was an amazing experience. I saw the Book of Kells and it was a one of a kind book - quite colorful based on the poster presentation exhibited at the lobby. The designs and patters are so beautiful. The 11 Euro admission ticket is worth it! I am a bibiliophile and it was like visiting heaven. You can also... More

A must see during your Dublin visit. The building really steals the show. The architecture just blows you away. It makes you wonder how they could build something like that back in the day. Of course the contents are also breath taking. Just do this before the Guinness tour!

I was ready to see the famous Book of Kells after studying it for months and was not disappointed. The price was a little steep to get in, but I'd pay it again. The beginning of the museum was an explanation of the book and how and why it was made which was very interesting. The book itself was awesome,... More

Apparently the long room which is part of the tour was used in one of the Star Wars films as the Jedi's library.....very cool. For photography buffs like me the book of Kells can't be photographed, but the long room can be provided you don't use a flash. In all seriousness go and have a look and take your time.... More

I visited by chance and never regret it. Just make sure you have enough time. The Book of Kells containing the four Gospels is a masterpiece in every aspect. The Old Library is impressive beyond words. It makes you feel awe and gives you spine chills once entering the long hall.

Had the price of admission not been included in my trip to Ireland, I would not pay to come to this attraction. I usually love historical attractions, but this bored me to tears. Trinity College is lovely, and the library was beautiful, but seeing the Book of Kells did nothing for me. A short walk through the exhibit, ending with... More

Went to an event here and the Long Room library is just really worth seeing. Like something out of a Harry Potter Film.

This was our second time to see the Book of Kells. We went the first time in the summer and it was crowded. This time we were there by 9:30 on a Friday morning and practically had the place to ourselves! We had time to read all the signs, time to really look at pictures and really had time to... More

The library is a great place to go. Take your time and look around for a while. The cunstruction of the library is neat in it's self.
