Beautiful spot frequented by the homeless living in the nearby shelter. The serenity may be disturbed by drunken arguments.

Wonderful jewel hidden off the main drags A lovely rectangular walk around the water feature is a favourite exercise spot for the staff of the local Mater hospital. Beautiful wrought iron benches ideal for sunny lunchtimes with sandwiches from the local favourite Deli Suz Drunks and worse do tend to congregate towards the phibbsboro end of the park but they... Flowers blooming, large assortment and colors blended well. The smells are pleasant, no foul smells from the small pond. Able to walk around and enjoy.

There are two public parks in Dublin that the majority of Dubliners may be unaware of so they are often referred to as ’secret gardens’. One is Iveagh Gardens near Stephen’s Green and the other is the little park at Blessington Street Basin. Of the two parks Iveagh Gardens is the more impressive but the Blessington Street Park has much... More

This little area of tranquillity so close to the city centre is precious. Acting as a reservoir providing water to the north city since the early 1800s and continuing as a water source to distilleries until the 1970s, it was handsomely revamped by the local authority in the 1990s. We normally enter through the Blessington Street gate, to be greeted... More

Found this little park and lake a short walk from the hotel where we were staying by accident. An old reservoir which had a sealed surface path and what I imagine would be attractive flower beds in season. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

I just stumbled across this place while I was out for a run, and it was amazingly beautiful! I definitely recommend adding this to your walking / running route. It's on the way between the city centre and the Glasnevin cemetery.

Very pretty garden areas that are well maintained with flowers. The small lake is easy to walk around on a paved path. Some nice art is embedded in a wall. Benches are around and its nice quiet place to rest and relax. Saw folks resting and one person jogging around the lake.

Quite and surprisingly pretty. Not far from the noisy center and the overpopulated georgian houses on Blessinton St.
