In the departure lounge of LAX, I met a Middle Eastern business man who told me he was going to London, where he was taking a train and ferry to Dublin. Here, he would make for the HaPenny Bridge: because he had heard so much...More

Had to visit this bridge, cute padlock idea and also another custom to spit into the Liffey from here for luck!! However, I witnessed a pickpocket gang stalking (like jackals), some young girls who were waiting to cross the road - the traffic lights take...More

This was the main bridge we used to get to our accommodation. It is very modern and in contrast with others crossing the river. It is pretty but I share other reviews that it is just. Bridge - albeit newer than most.

Charming pedestrian bridge, Dublin's oldest pedestrian crossing over the river Liffey since 1816, with a strange name that came from the toll ( half penny) they charged to cross it! Now it is free of course and it attracts many visitors for photos. I didn't...More

This is so very unusual and sweet. I had the chance to walk it, knowing that it was a half-penny to cross it and the only crossing of the River Liffey!!

Pictures make it look much better than in person. Water views are always nice no matter where they are.

Lots of people, some homeless sitting and begging for money there. Not what we expected at all. Simple bridge.

This lovely pedestrian bridge connects two fascinating parts of Dublin. It has a beautiful shape and offers great views east and west along the Liffey. It’s worth pausing half way to admire the views.

This is the de facto meeting place for tourists if they get lost. Everybody knows it. It is a incredible piece of architecture. It is a must see local tradition to cross the bridge.

Little bridge over a river. Nice to see at night for the reflections in the river. Connects the two sides of Dublin and near the Temple bar area

The Ha'penny bridge is likely near many of the attractions you will visit in Dublin - and worth taking as you cross over the river to feel a bit of the city's rich history. This pedestrian bridge is convenient and offers another view of the...More
