The statue encapsulates a beautiful Irish story that sits at the heart of Dublin. It is worth the visit and easily accessible from most places in central Dublin

On Grafton street near the bottom one is used to visitors taking selfies with Mollie- but today she wasn't there. It is not unusual in Dublin for sculptures in Dublin and Ballinspittle to move. Anna Livia used to lie in a pool of water outside the GPO - but she is now gone. Nelson used to stand on a pillar... More

This is a very popular attraction. When you can make sure you get a photo of yourself with the statue - this can be diificult due to the number of people passing but people will always move out of the way or stop for you..

We sang the song while taking photos with Molly. If you don't know it, google it and learn the words. Makes seeing the statue much more fun.

No visit to Dublin would be complete without a visit to see Molly Malone. Located near Grafton street and Trinity College, this statue is surrounded by wonderful buildings and shops that reminded me of scenes out of Harry Potter

The Molly Malone Statue is on a corner where street musicians are often playing. It's a nice little stop, especially if the song and story of Molly Malone played a part in your childhood. I'm happy to have seen it. Truly a quick visit.

Join the numerous tourists rubbing Molly Malone's brass cockles and mussels and other items (hopefully for good luck) at this statue in Suffolk Street. After having your picture taken, why not pop into O'Neill's opposite for a small refreshment. Only a short walk from Temple Bar, it's worth the opportunity even just to sing 'alive, alive oh'.
