Ireland isn't really known for it's beaches so you'll find there aren't loads of people here, which is great. A really nice and clean beach & a great place for a walk or run.

Sandymount strand is a pleasant stretch of beach which is very close to the city centre. Nice spot for a walk or cycle. However sandymount village is very pretentious and full of dreadfully unpleasant, stuck up locals.

Very relaxing spot, great place to kick or throw a ball, or play frisbee, people watch and enjoy views of Howth and other nearby sights. Been there twice, would like to return anytime I'm back in Dublin. Easily accessible by bus or train.

Amazing local amenity, particularly when the tide is out, for dog walking, jogging or just having a walk. Wear wellies to allow access to to more distant levels.
