Small, quaint, charming. It's a classic Irish pub and is always packed. I love coming here in winter for the warm reception and to get out of the cold. In summer on a nice evening, it's really cool because bands play in the street, people...More

Great pub, drinks are good, staff are friendly and prompt and there is an amazing atmosphere. This pub has retained its old school charm despite being surrounded by 'modern' Dublin.

Out of all the bars in Dublin this one was also great. They serve nice pints and let you try new tastes for free. Good atmosphere to have a few with friends.

We visited early on a Monday lunchtime and received a friendly greeting. The Guinness was poured properly and tasted excellent. We later decided to eat and had an enjoyable light lunch - being too full after a hotel breakfast for the traditional bacon and cabbage.

This place was recommended to us by a tour guide and we happened to stumble upon it for lunch one day. The atmosphere is neat, the food was good, the cider was delicious! Nothing majorly special but it was good...

They are very efficient and manage to get food and drink to people pretty quickly. Dont expect a hostess and a wait list. You go in and find yourself a seat. Someone will find you and take your order.

I do not remember the hours, but we got lunch there around 1. It was delicious, and we highly recommend it! We had the Beef and Guinness Casserole and the Pork + Leek Sausage.
