My colleagues brought me there after work, while on a business trip in Dublin. Even though there were a lot of tourists (as in every pub in the Temple Bar area) the music was great, saw some traditional Irish dances and had a lot of fun.

Love this place. Yes it's a bit stereotypical Irish theme pub, but what a fantastic atmosphere. Good Guinness and wines which suites me and the other half. Staff are efficient and always welcoming. Always great music and the bands/musicians participate well with the crowd and usually take requests. People from around the globe all seem to mix well here and... More

Decided to call in for an evening meal, walked into the bar entrance at the side of the building and found it a lot quieter and more homely feel. The live music from the main bar was shown on televisions so you could still enjoy it without it being overpowering. The staff were very polite and helpful and the food was filling and... In the middle of Temple Bar, Gogarty's tries ( and succeeds) to retain an authentic Irish pub atmosphere. It can get extremely noisy and crowded but in the quieter times the music and atmosphere is good.

It is everything you would wish for in a stereotyped Irish pub made for tourists! Right on Temple Bar you wouldn't expect any less. For us it did exactly what we wanted. Arrived at our local hotel at 11pm having boarded the plane from England 90 minutes earlier. Dumped the bags, followed our ears and found a pub full of... More

Great live Irish music, friendly staff. Ladies toilets were a bit off putting with overflowing sanitary bins. Overall, great experience

Good atmosphere with live music and face painting before the rugby, however pints were the most expensive we had encountered in the city at over 7 euros each. Food was fine. Taxi driver later in the trip expressed his disgust with their prices and told us they increase the prices throughout the night!
