The pub, the poet and the pint. In Dublin, they seem to be inseparable. The public house is where writers sharpened their wit. This two hour walking tour is led by a team of professional actors who follow in the footsteps of James Joyce, Samuel...more

We booked the Literary Pub Crawl on a whim our first night in Dublin and BOY WERE WE GLAD! The guides are talented actors and the tour has an intimate and lighthearted feel. I was familiar with some of the literary history and learned a...More
We did the pub crawl about 3 years ago and loved it, so when it was time to visit Dublin again with my mother in law we booked it again. We had so much fun. It is a great way to learn about Dublin and...More
In my opinion this is a great tour to 4 different bars with fun stories in between about some of the literary artists in Dublin. The 2 guys who lead the tour are great actors and story tellers! You can choose to buy a drink...More
I really enjoyed this tour, completely different than any other tour I have been on. I enjoyed the easy walk even in the rain, the theatrical pieces, and of course the pubs we visited! I did pick up the book as well, and am now...More

I am delighted you enjoyed the tour and got the book as well. I hope the author signed it too!
So glad we booked this excursion. What a fun way to experience Dublin and learn a unique story of the city. Well organized and creative evening with fun for all. I’m pleased to say I won the quiz at the end. Yeah Canada!
Most people did not have a drink at each stop and had to wait a long 20 min for those who did. The crawl might be better if we went to each pub for the little 'act' or explination then move on. The pubs are...More
We travel to Dublin annually and this is our second time doing the pub crawl. Enjoyed it just as much the second time. The combination of history, literature, beer, and meeting new people/friends is a wonderful way to spend an evening.
Excellent! I wasn’t sure about going on my own but I enjoyed every minute of it. Superb performances, great use of humour and I learnt a lot...not enough to win the quiz though! Well done. I’ll be back.

Hello. We just include the performances of professional actors. There is also a quiz with prizes at the end. We let the customer decide what s/he wants to drink and how much. We are all different with higher and lower tolerances for alcohol. I feel it is dangerous to include free drinks as then our tour would turn into a drunken circus. I don't want to lead such a tour and most of my customers would not join such a tour.
