The pub, the poet and the pint. In Dublin, they seem to be inseparable. The public house is where writers sharpened their wit. This two hour walking tour is led by a team of professional actors who follow in the footsteps of James Joyce, Samuel...more

They are excellent actors with a LOT of knowledge to share. This was our first night in Dublin after a very long flight...despite of being exhausted, we enjoyed it very much!

We had just got back from a day trip to Howth and were in two minds to come along - once you settle, it's sometimes hard to get moving again, isn't it? So glad we did, as this was a highlight of our trip to...More

Thanks very much for joining us Paul. It's now recommended by Forbes as one of the 7 'to do' things when you come to Dublin. All the best. COLM

The whole idea behind this tour is just perfect: a bit of history, great performances and perfect timing to drink your way around a few emblematic pubs. Our hosts were very approachable and witty... highly recommend!

This was a lot of fun and we learned a lot. The guides/actors knew their stuff, kept the group engaged, and answered all my many questions with good humor.

This was a wonderful walking tour throughout the streets and pubs of Dublin. I particularly felt that the stop at Trinity college delving into the brilliance of Oscar Wilde was the best stop of the tour. Admittedly we loved the historical pubs as well. The...More

I won't comment on this eagle-eyed 'professional' guide and her zeal in critiquing another guide so publicly. That's just a question of taste.  When people come into the room before 7pm they are asked to wait at the bar until the room is properly set...More

Suggested by a wise friend and we loved every moment. These two fellows showed us how it's supposed to be done! Engaging, theatrical, sensitive, witty, kind and flat out frickin' magical. As a theatre practitioner, I am not only in awe but reminded that the...More

The actors were superb and so engaging in the stories they told. We weren't so interested in the pub part but were glad we went just to see such skilled actors.

We don't focus on drinking. We stop off in two pubs during the night but we talk loads about the authors and historical background. So if you are just looking for a booze up, don't come on the Dublin Literary Pub Crawl!
