My daughter was staying at the Uni during her exchange from ANU. It's a big university, the accommodation is excellent, lots of space and in a great area with regular bus services to the city and the airport. There is even a supermarket on campus.

Stayed on campus for a conference. Very comfortable for budget accommodation. Shop on site means you can self cater. Lovely walk round campus too and very easy and cheap bus trip into the heart of Dublin. Connections to airport. Very frequent and easy.

UCD is a wonderful place to study, do research and make good friends. It has a modern infrastructure. The campus is quite beautiful too.

Here for a business conference. Walking around was not sure what to make of it but it was relaxed and was only 15 minutes form city centre.

I regularly park in the grounds of UCD and avail of the lovely Woodland walks on the campus. I grew up in the area and I know the grounds and buildings like the back of my hand. There are a number of coffee shops and restaurants where you can pick up something to eat. My first summer job as a... More

What an amazing place for students and families. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. So unlike universities in Canada where you feel like a problem to be dealt with. They actually make you feel welcome and have real concern for your well being. So refreshing!

Absolutely lovely place to admire. I was lucky enought that an exam was taking place so I saw bit of the background of this whole stressful process (students cramming at the stairs, running around...) Unfortunately I didn't get to see the amazing library - a bit too much for just looking at books, don't ya think? :X

Ireland is hardly renowned for its signage. The running joke is that the lack of road signs is a deliberate ploy to get tourists to go down the wrong road to the right pub and similar. But when one is trying to find the way to a meeting it quickly fades from charming quirkiness to infuriating incompetence. By far the... More
