Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was our first trip to Dublin and were visiting with my wife, 2 daughters and 2 other family members. Connor was our guide and he was fabulous. Very interesting, funny and fun.

James was an awesome guide. He combined extensive knowledge of the history of Ireland, specifics about Dublin and the importance of the landmarks we visited. He was a good story teller ("the Irish say never let the truth get in the way of a good story") with clear delivery that was easy to follow. The tour length was good (~2 hours) and the while the Irish tend to be fast walkers, we had no trouble keeping up.

We like this tour and the tour guide so much we signed up for a second tour that evening with the same tour guide, James, taking us to three pubs for beer and gin tasting.

Conor’s tour was interesting and informative and gave great insight on the historical and political significance of many sights along the tour. I’d recommend this tour to anyone starting out their trip as a great intro to the City and Ireland’s history of independence.

Our tour guide was Martin and he really enlightened Dublin to us both explaining the history and political interests and the life of the Dublin people with feeling and plenty of humour.

We had an excellent tour with Conor, despite the drizzle and cold. He was witty and informative and provided an excellent introduction to Dublin’s city centre, with plenty of historical anecdotes and amusing stories. Well worth doing.
