About
Rooted in a desire to showcase the abundant and talented artists emerging in Ireland today, Jam Art Factory first opened it's doors on Patrick Street, in the heart of Dublin's historic Liberties in 2011. Since then, this independant gallery and design shop has been showcasing smart, contemporary Irish art to a growing band of avid fans. Our handpicked artists fill the gallery with fresh concepts in print, using both traditional and contemporary techniques. We have ceramics, textiles, jewellery and street art in strange and wonderful forms, always working with the artists to create exciting new designs. In 2013, brothers Mark and John opened a second location in the lively surrounds of Crown Alley in Temple Bar, and today, Jam Art Factory ships prints all over the world, providing a platform for independent artists to exhibit their work and solving all your home and gift dilemmas.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Maybe it was my fault but I was hoping for more cutting edge and less commercial works.
It isn't that it is not good, just not what I wanted.

My son is an artist and enjoyed taking a look around. We purchased a couple of things but the most original thing to me was a card I bought to send to my elderly mother. The card was made with flowers from the owner's wife's garden (I believe they said) better than a postcard for sure.

Ah thanks so much for your lovely review. Really appreciate it! Hope your mother liked the card. They were indeed made from the flowers in our garden.

A lovely little homegrown art shop presenting some beautiful and unique art works. The owner Mark is super friendly, welcoming and an artist himself too so listen to his suggestions! It’s a small vibrant shop and an excellent place to pick up a little treasure for yourself or gift for a loved one. Highly recommended.

Stumbled across this place one night 5 mins before closing, loved it so much we returned the next day before we left Dublin. This is a must if you enjoy art and especially by local artists. There is something for everyone here and within a reasonable budget too. Fun, original and lots of 'must haves'....great as original gifts from Ireland or a reminder of your stay. Staff were really friendly and they also sell on line. Highly recommend a visit though.

My wife and I were tooling around in Dublin and happened into the location near Temple Bar. We spent probably 15-20 minutes in the shop, being absolutely enthralled with everything we saw. There were things that we wanted, things that we thought were nice and a couple of things we saw that made us think. We spent some time talking to the shopkeeper, Ruth and she was happy to talk with us about more than just what was in the shop. She told us about Dublin and on a broader scale, Ireland. She was truly a delight to speak with. She wanted to know as much about where we were from and us as we did her. The first visit, we were not able to purchase anything because of how our trip was scheduled but let us know about the other location on Patrick St. where we ran into her again a week and a half later and she remembered us in a shop that was full of people. She stopped to talk to us and engage us about our trip and happily packed our print that we bought and made a couple of recommendations of what we could do on our last day. Stop in here to buy nontraditional, local, art that is sure to be a talking point in your house.
This shop has some really interesting artwork, small postcards to large poster sized prints and everything in between. There are maps, felt, alphabets, surreal, everything and anything that is a branch away from the ordinary is here.
