We enjoyed hearing traditional Irish music played here during a session on a Wednesday evening. Very relaxed atmosphere and a good place to have quiet conversation with people in your party. Another good option in the Westend.

the owner didn't pay the man who did the work! This pub should be boycotted! The owner did not pay an honourable workman & artisan who spent many hours creating a fantastic piece of traditional craft. To leave a family without monies due at this...More

Not a good pub by any stretch , slow uninterested service , wouldn't go back there . And some locals there were telling us that the owner owes a local man over 10 grand for the thatching of the roof ?

Poor service, nice thatch. Shame they scammed an honest thatcher for it! Would have been a nicer place to visit if it hadn't been for the the fact the guy laughs about it to his customers

Went into pub around 930pm: It was quiet at first then was packed within the hour; after the races finished. There was many barmen on, to cope with the crowds. The barstaff were fine, but could come across friendlier. We had a couple of drinks,...More

Nice chilled out local pub, not a tourist trap like so many others in Galway. Good Guinness, nice staff and locals
