We were here for my Mother's Birthday. Fresh Irish Seafood cooked to perfection and presented Beautifully. Black Sole, John Dory, Cod , Scallops to name a few. Plenty of choice for the carnivorous too. These people are at the top of their game. Service was professional, polite and courteous. Time has been taken to train staff and its clear they are happy to work there. Can't wait to go back.

We dined at Kirwins lane with a few friends on a Saturday night. The restaurant was buzzy, the food was excellent, the service was superb. We had a fantastic evening and I'm looking forward to when we're next back in Galway so we can visit it again

We visited having booked at short notice on a Saturday night in March. Sat at the bar counter and enjoyed a lovely meal in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Food was terrific, wine perfect. As always. However the friendly and welcoming experience is just great. Killian, Petrina and the other staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. While the wine was opened we toasted each other, privately as we thought, on our wedding anniversary. However we were overheard and the staff made a real fuss with the dessert, with a chocolate greeting. What a treat. We met Sam who was buzzing after having scored his first try in the All Ireland League that afternoon, and was on duty that evening. As I had been at the game, we had a great conversation, and were stunned afterwards to hear that he was very friendly with our nephew. Couldn't write it! So well done to you all as always, we have loved being customers at Kirwans for many many years, and long may the welcome and the great food and service continue.

What a wonderful find! We had a delicious meal. We shared the sauteed prawns appetizer, which was very tasty. I had the duck for my main course which was absolutely delicious. My husband had the dry aged sirloin of beef, which was cooked to perfection. We had a very lovely server and we enjoyed the lively but cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend this restaurant while visiting Galway.

Superb! After a very wet day in Ireland and while staying at a less than ideal hotel, I really wanted a delicious hot meal. And Ireland, in general, has great seafood. I had no reservation. They squeezed me in at the gorgeous marble bar. Each dish was really beautiful and so flavorful. I really enjoyed the prawns. The staff were all so friendly. I was grateful to have had a wonderful meal. Perfection!
