On my way to the Cathedral. The pathway along the river is easy. The stream has tributaries running into it all the way. the sound of running water is refreshing. The boardwalk is well-maintained and an easy walk. Took time to just sit wad watch....More

Another great day in Ireland so enjoyed a walk long the river. Tide was out so lots of crap to be seen but did not deter people sitting along the edges having lunch and lapping up some of the Rays.

Amazing short walk that helps understand importance of river to Galway. Cuts into several small islands. Lots of photo opportunities await. Nice to hear some salmon returning-even pinks although suspicion is due to escapement elsewhere.

It is a nice river walk, but really nothing special. You just walk up a little path that divides the rushing river from the calmer canal.

After shopping with the crowds, it was a pleasant change to walk along the serene river that flows through Galway. It is a great diversion from shopping and seeing the sights and allows you to just unwind.
