Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This museum is small and is behind a clad dash ring shop. It’s free to enter. It contains some interesting (low tech) displays on rings purchased/ given to Queen Victoria and Princess Grace of Monaco. The displays trace what happened to the rings after they were received by the royals. It’ll only take you 15 minutes to duck in here, so if you have the time, an interesting few minutes.

Tiny museum with a lot of information and very interesting artifacts. They have the world's smallest Claddagh ring! If you wear a Claddagh everyday like I do, this little spot won't take you more then 20-30 minutes to become a bit more connected with the Claddagh and it's history.

The title says it all. The Museum is in the back of a small shop. Although it is small, you can learn all you need to know about the Claddagh ring. While admission is free, if you visit with a jewelry lover, you will not escape unscathed. I took my wife and daughter, so you know I paid. But I now know more about these rings than I do about most of the jewelry I give as gifts.

Tiny store disguised as a museum. First area is store, small room at back is the museum - showing a few showcases of older rings as well as historical photos and celebrities buying rings,
No guide, no background, no story, no origin, no description of materials or process.
Not really deserving of title “museum”.

An interesting history of the Claddagh ring, how they came to be and the people of note who have visited.

I went to find the story of the Claddagh ring after I visited the Claddagh area at the mouth of the river. The 'museum' is really a shop selling rings and they have a video on repeat that is free to watch. Its a romantic story. The rags are beautiful and there is a vast array if your interested in acting with your cash.

We visited the Claddagh Ring Museum and purchased a claddagh ring here in July 2018. The jewelry makers were very helpful and knowledgeable. The museum is small, but filled with a lot of great history and facts of the Claddagh ring. A very interesting few facts about JFK and his claddagh ring that he received from this very jewelry store when he visited Ireland.

this place has lots of rubbish on display and tries to sell you nothing more than stamped out rings from sheets of poor quality gold. No skill displayed at all in their manufacture. Then again it's the same all along quay street.

I read the reviews before going to Ireland, and so therefore was not surprised that the museum was tiny. It was super informative and so interesting to see the way the Claddagh has touched so many people throughout the world. I have a gold ring I've worn for years. I wanted a silver one from Ireland and this was the best place to get it! One of my best purchases from the trip.
