It is a lovely piece of history but I’m not sure I like how it is tucked away in a shopping centre and there are Children’s rides scattered around it. I feel like there should be more significance placed upon it!

This is an interesting historical place in the midst of the city. Within the Galway Eyre Square Centre.

We went here based on reviews. Although the top of wall has been rebuilt, it was awesome to visit. Read the plaques. It’s a great stop

We were shocked to see the way the indoor mall had been integrated into the medieval walls. Lots of shops and all were packed with the bank holiday weekend.

We were on a one hour tour Which started in the shopping center with this medieval wall. We went into the old town and, all in all, it was very interesting. The guide made it especially so with his detailed information and stories.
