Quay Street offered a multiptude of fun activities for everyone. There were restaurants, shops and great sightseeing opportunities. The Christmas market was open which included a ferries wheel and many vendors selling their craft. A great place for families of all ages.

V pretty, great athmosphere. Kids loved it and felt very safe. Great police presence. Buskers everywhere, that's a bonus.

I stayed at Jurys so Quay Street was on my doorstep. What a vibrant street filled with great restaurants, bars and music. It's right in the centre of town and wonderful to just walk around and absorb the history and culture of this great city. Also nearby to the beautiful Claddagh area with the fast- flowing Corrib exiting into Galway... More

Both day and night Quay Street is buzzing. Late at night it gets a bit messy with Hen/Stag parties going wild - which is a pity because the place is wonderful

There are a ton of small shops, restaurants, and pubs in this area. Me and my wife had a great time jumping between pubs listening to live music. Very crowded though, its a university town with alot of younger people.

Really busy street, full of life and character. The buskers are fabulous, really added to the atmosphere. Bustling with tourists, we enjoyed people watching while we had a drink. Lots of great shops, bars and cafes. Not to be missed.
