Forthill is known locally as where true Galwegians are buried, it is closed for burials unless there is an existing space in a family grave. It is well maintained and makes a very interesting place to visit with family history in abundance.

The oldest Graveyard of Galway City! Well worth the visit just a short walk from Radison Hotel and not a long walk from Eyre Sq. walk
