The beautiful views of Galway Bay make this an ideal walking location, great path along by Bay and all the way to the Light House. Just a really refreshing walk into the "breeze" off the Bay.

This was originally known as the swamp back in the days when The Claddagh was a fishing village on the Corrib. Since been turned into a open space for sports.

I regularly take in the walk by the sea when I walk to the city from Salthill. Once you reach Nemo's Pier you have see swans and various other birds. Very pleasant.
