This is such a pleasant location to take a 20 or 30 minute stroll just a stone's throw away from the centre of Killarney. The paths are immaculately kept and the flowers and grass are so pretty. The view on a good day is quite...More

Some of the grander rooms have been recently restored to the way the wealthy 1950s American owners had it--very mid-century luxe. Free tour of those 3 rooms. The massive lawn and gardens (with a mountainous backdrop) behind the house were the real star. We were...More

You can walk the grounds and gardens self-guided, but the interior manor house is a mandatory guided tour, and you can see why. It is an inexpensive fee for such a nice tour. Tip: before you agree to a price and ride with a jaunting...More

The colors, variety and sheer number of flowers was amazing! The combination of flowers with the scenic views of the national park was a perfect combination! Would have loved to stayed longer.

We had some time to kill and a beautiful sunny day so we walked around the Killarney House Gardens. The wide open space and beautiful landscaping, as well as a stunning view of the mountains, make this a great place to visit. Even better, we...More

I visited here not being too sure what to expect. We were lucky enough to get onto a tour straight away (although they have them every 30 mins) and had a fascinating look into the lives of the elite families who lived in the house...More

We did the short tour of the house and heard the interesting story of those who had lived there. So pleased it has been restored and will become a wildlife centre. The gardens also provide a quiet haven and a beautiful foreground to the lakes...More
