To best mates looking for an adventure and the Kerry Way was just that... We trekked the entire route in 7nights/8 days. Wild camping 6 nights out of 7. 1 night spent in Kenmare. The only and I mean the only negative thing on the...More

In April it 's rainy and grey along the Ring of Kerry. But, the best, most pretty part, even in bad weather is the stretch from Killarney to Sneem, which would normally be the end of the trip, because everyone recommends going "anti-clockwise" around the...More

We took a private driver tour from Killarney around The Ring of Kerry. It was an amazing experience to see the Irish Countryside, the cliffs, the mountains and just be able to relax and enjoy it

So beautiful and so so very pretty. We went in the Fall and it was a lot less crowded. We rented a car and toured on our own.

Beginning part of the Kerry Ring Route road it offers some very interesting scenery along the route. Depending on your time and weather conditions it's a great place to do walks, stop at the view points and take many country photos. It's best done in...More

Magnificant views, weather dependant. Lovely view point stops along the way and many good places for coffee stops and lunch time eats.

Visited here recently. It wasn't great. Not a great selection for gluten free. Staff abit abrupt. Cleaned under our table while we were eating. Not a great atmosphere.

Two days of walking this trail barely scratched the surface of its treasures. It passes through woods, grazing land, up into hills with beautiful views of the sea, and through towns in the Ring of Kerry area.

We walked 11 Km from the church just past Lady's view to Muckross House. Was a spectacular walk through a well marked trail. In woods, between mountains. A number of areas have to walk over rocks so need to be careful. The trail also goes...More

We had a private driver tour, we weren't rushed took all day. Our driver could take us places that the big tour buses couldn't go because of the narrow roadways. The only way to properly do the Ring of Kerry.

A bit over-hyped, the Ring of Kerry was full of tourist buses and tourist traps. Recommend getting off the beaten path and going on the Skellig Ring and the town of Ballinskelligs, if you have your own car. There were some great views from the...More

Hi, It's all a great adventure, but the day from Sneem to Kenmare is long and tiring so you could consider avoiding that section. All sections will be very tough if you strike heavy rain. You can download a series of maps... More
