We took our 3 kids here this past weekend. We did the blue trail which took just over an hour. They loved the step climb at the beginning and the fact they were up so high! Weather wasn't great but the walk is quite sheltered so it didn't really matter. Pleasant activity for no charge!

After a storm the flow over the waterfall was really powerful. Spray everywhere -so I didn't risk my camera. In the spring light the moss on the stones and trees is bright green : beautiful

Can be part of one of the many walks and trails in Killarney national park or can be a trip on its own- cars can be parked off old Kenmare road or the local jaunting cars have a stop nearby. Its quite a steep walk up mainly natural steps to the top of the waterfall but its accessible and there... More

This is a pretty small waterfall but it's worth a stop if you're going along the Ring of Kerry. Only a 5 min walk up (you can start from other places like Muckross House) and the surrounding area is stunning. It's worth a visit.

To get to the waterfall is a little hike and many stone steps but once your there your legs will forgive you. Beautiful site and even more beautiful forestry along the way. The path was well marked so there's no chance of getting lost.

Visited after some heavy rain and the waterfall was spectacular. Continued on the trail up for maybe a mile or two the views are spectacular. Well worth a visit.

This is a short hike from the parking area off the road. There is a beautiful stream that leads up to the waterfall and then if you are physically fit enough, you can take a set of stairs up up and up for some stunning views of the park.

Definitely worth the short visit. It's only a two kilometer walk from Muckross House and Gardens and can also be accessed by car or jaunting car.
