Fenit is a very pleasant place to visit on a nice day. Great views back toward Dingle, nice beaches. And a great reason to eat at West End restaurant!

Nice beach and walkway around it. Great view of the lighthouse. We were there on a Monday and there was no obvious way to the lighthouse but still feel it's worthwhile trip.

You would need a bus to Fenit, not Ardfert BUT I don't think there are actually any trips to the lighthouse - just a view from the shore. As the previous person said, bus services are limited.
