We came here for a sunset walk at the recommendation of our B&B host's at Lawcus Farm Guest House which is right up the road. There is easy parking for your car and then you follow a circular path around the ruins and then down...More

This was the first ruins that we visited in Ireland and I wasn't disappointed. A tour guide came out to greet us and talk about the site. He was very friendly and well informed.

This site has some interesting history. Only just starting to get on tourist routes, as is being restored. Fantastic walks around the site enriched in tales of yesteryear.

This place is amazing! First off it's free! Who doesn't love free! When we went there weren't many people there which was another plus for me. I like to take unobstructed pictures of breathtaking places and I was definitely able to do that. I don't...More

We couldn't believe the size and scope of Kells Priory or why it hasn't become that well known by many tourists. It has no fee (for now) and the parking lot holds about 15 cars at most. This site itself, however, is amazing and huge,...More
