Nice guided tour, by request with audio guides in different languages. But our guide spoke clear and slow enough to understand almost everything, even as germans. :) Very familiar atmosphere, cool mixture of visual and auditive tour. Highlights: the free Smithwicks in the end and...More

We decided to just drop in and try see if there was free slots on a tour which there was and it is actually very interesting to see how smithwicks is actually made and the history behind it is interesting, you get a complementary drink...More

I have been on many brewery tours, with this one being a highlight. The guide was informative and the visual experience was exceptional. The beer at the end went down well.

This really took us by surprise, it's an interactive and superbly presented history of the smithwicks brewery; you can see, smell, taste and touch every stage of the brewing process but not before learning an in depth account of how the brewery came to be...More

This tour was so much fun. As I said I know how they make beer but this tour was more a history of Smithwick and how it survived. Very informative and really easy to got to from Dublin.

For those of you who like a Kilkenny or a red ale from Smithwicks, them go and visit the old brewery site and do a tour, you will get the history of where it all began. Our guide Chloe was enthusiastic and informative.

Very informative tour which details the history of the site as well as how beer is made. Only downside was the group size was too big to be really comfortable in some rooms

We enjoyed the visit with Smithwicks. I'm an A/V professional, so can comment on this: The quality of the tour was impressive considering its use of audio and video to make the tour come to live, including "Harry Potter" like talking pictures on the wall....More

First, Cilliam, our guide, was a champion of dreams. He was friendly but professional. He was approachable and knew his Smithwick's facts. The tour is not of the actual brewery, because it has moved due to increased distribution. They have built out an enjoyable tour...More
