Starting off collecting taxes with 'Tholsel' meaning 'Toll' to spending them as the town hall and courthouse to its present use as a market place. A great old building.

Right downtown on High street. When I was there musicians were inside playing and the walls made a beautiful amplification of their songs.

This old part of Kilkenny seems to have been left petty much unchanged. The solid stone walls and pillars are a sign of how strongly the town was built years ago.

It was the part of the walking tour from the Kilkenny Castle. It was nice place to take photos but otherwise it was not such a significant building.
