Beautifully restored home with interesting guided tours. Great architecture,furniture and ceilings.Once the tour is over you can view Father Brownes photographic exhibition. There are also nice grounds to walk in.

Beautiful place for a walk,a chat and lunch. Very much weather dependant for outdoor experience but with raincoat & wellies and an indoor lunch Tis still a great place to meet up.

Lovely grounds to walk, you could do about a 45 min walk by doing the circle. There is longer walks though. Cafe very nice but expensive. Lovely for a half day out, would not spend all day here. The house is open now to view...More

beautiful walks in a tranquil setting. lovely for a sunday stroll with the family. Well worth a visit and particularly during the week when its not as busy. the tea shop is well worth a visit too.

Wonderful house with lovely grounds and a very interesting story behind it. Nice pleasant coffee shop adjacent to the house. This along with the very professional presentation by our guide gave a very pleasant afternoon out for us.

The surrounding grounds are beautiful grounds. There is a tour of the house available which gives a great insight of the history associated with the house

My best friend lives in Laois and brought me here. Such a lovely place, the grounds are kept immaculate, lovely pond area, nice for picnics etc on a nice day. Tea rooms are lovely and the girls in there were lovely. Definitely be back.
