This is a very small area that you can just peak in at the tower. It is surrounded by a fence so nothing you can get close to or "explore"

Great photo but like everyone else it is locked. If you like this sort of thing go and visit will only take 5mins but not if it isnt on your way. Interesting little tower in the town.

We were visiting Drogheda for the day and went walking to see the town. This is an impressive old tower in the older part of town but we had little information and could not get access to it. It is worth photographing but I wish...More

We stopped here to visit. Walked as close as we could, but the gates were locked. Took some pictures and left.

Each to their own but for me this bit of architecture didn't do much for me. Nothing wrong with it just not inspiring for my taste.

In evening the tower stands sort of alone speaking of the past. Not a big deal, but if you are wlking by worth a look.

Oldest tower in the upper part of the town, near to the schools and convent of Sienna, you cant touch the tower as the tower is preserved and gate is locked. Nice to see it and discover a 100 years of religious artifact.

Drogheda heritage sites are very badly preserved. Magdeline Tower should be open to the public all year round. Tourists flock to Drogheda from everywhere the get to the tower to see the gates locked. It's a shame.

Just a short walk up the hills from town. One of the towers of Drogheda that you may drive past a lot but worth the walk to see more than just a brief view

Drogheda was a old port city and an old religious center. Magdalene Tower is but one reminder of the religious history. If wall could talk!
