Just back from the heritage center and we really enjoyed seeing all it had to offer 3 euro admission you cant go wrong its well worth a visit

Though the exterior is inauspicious, the interior holds treasures that give a great insight into daily life generations ago. The docent gave a lively account of the rich history families who created the planned city of Westport, which celebrates its 250th birthday this year.

We visited Clew Bay Heritage Centre and were not disappointed. The lady gave us lots of information on the history of Westport. The museum itself brought us back to our childhood, there was also a competition where you had to name the item on display....More

Popped in while having a walk around ClewBay Harbour . A small Heritage centre with a lovely woman with great knowledge on the area and it's History. 3 euros per Adult and 2euros for teenagers . A lovely surprise to find

To hear Bronagh Joyce and her stories is well worth the visit, great examples of old artifacts and Bronagh is very knowledgeable on the local history
