As Sligo beaches go, Dunmoran is fine, but not in the premier division. We are kinda spoiled for choice. However, the views of Knocknarea, Ben Bulben and Ben Whisken across the bay are stunning and make this tranquil little corner of Ireland worth a visit....More

Another really lovely beach in County Sligo . Hardly a person about when we were there and apparently it doesn't ever get overcrowded . Great for walking and a very relaxing place to spend time .

Dunmoran strand is the most beautiful unspoilt beach in the county it is safe for children to play on and very clean

No amenities. No hucksters. No ice cream. Simply the best damn beach in Ireland. 48 years and counting.

Fab, clean quiet beach. We'll defo be back. Found crabs & starfish in the rock pool. Very safe for children

Lovely peaceful cove that gives you the impression you are on a private beach....you can look across a pretty narrow stretch of water to see the beach bar in Aughris which is just a 5 minute drive along beautiful winding roads...entire area is idyllic
